Pests we treat in homes and businesses
Rodents
Norway rats, roof rats and house mice in roofs, kitchens, garages and warehouses, plus grey squirrels in Southern Suburbs ceilings. The approach is proofing and tamper-resistant stations first, not poison scattered around the garden. See rodent control in Cape Town.
Crawling insects
Cockroaches, Argentine ants, fishmoths, crickets, spiders and scorpions. Most of these respond best to gel baits, dusts and treatments placed exactly where they hide, rather than spray on every surface. See crawling insect control.
Flying insects
House flies, blowflies, mosquitoes, and the European paper wasp that has spread through the Western Cape. Summer is the busy season for all of them. See flying insect control.
Biting insects
Fleas from pets, bed bugs brought home in luggage, and bird mites that come indoors when pigeons or mynas nest in the roof. These need careful identification first, because each one is treated differently. See biting insect control.
Stored product pests
Weevils, flour beetles, Indian meal moths and similar pests in pantries, bakeries, shops, feed stores and warehouses. The trick is finding every infested source, not just treating the shelf. See stored product pest control.

Timber, thatch and certificates of compliance

Disinfection

How every job is run
Whatever the pest, we follow a set routine so nothing is missed. Rodent jobs use a six-step regime:
- Find the harbourage, where they are living.
- Identify the food and water sources keeping them there.
- Proof the ingress points they use to get in.
- Assess the risks of baiting on that property.
- Build a plan tailored to the site.
- Write up a report of what was found and done.
Insect jobs follow four steps: find the source, map the infestation, treat in a targeted way, and leave remedial recommendations so it does not come back.
Where we work across Cape Town and the Boland
From our base in Brackenfell we cover the City Bowl and Atlantic Seaboard, the Southern and Northern Suburbs, the South Peninsula, the Cape Flats, Blaauwberg and the West Coast, the Helderberg and the Boland towns inland. The pests change as you move around. Older Southern Suburbs homes under big oaks get squirrels and rats in the roof. Coastal flats on the Atlantic Seaboard battle damp, fishmoths and cockroaches in shared ducts. Sandy Cape Flats soil suits ant colonies. Common questions
How quickly can you come out?
Most bookings are done within about 48 hours, depending on the season. After-hours and weekend visits can be arranged, and the 24-hour line is there for urgent advice and bookings.
Are your treatments safe for children and pets?
Yes, when the instructions are followed. We use the least-toxic option that will work, place baits in tamper-resistant stations, and tell you exactly how long to keep children and pets out of treated areas, which for most gel and bait treatments is not at all.
Do you give free quotes?
Yes. Send us a photo on WhatsApp or call 021 012 5825, and we will identify the pest and give you a quote.
What if the pests come back?
All our treatments carry a minimum 3-month guarantee. If the same pest returns in that period, we come back and deal with it.
Do you do beetle certificates for property transfers?
Yes. We inspect for wood-destroying beetles and issue the Certificate of Compliance that conveyancers need when a house is sold in the Western Cape.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Cape Town and the Boland, from Atlantis and Melkbosstrand to Simon's Town, Khayelitsha and Gordon's Bay. We are based in Brackenfell.
