Tell us what you are seeing and where. A photo helps a lot, and the quickest way to send one is on WhatsApp.

Bracken Villa, De Waal Street, Brackenfell, Cape Town, 7560. We are a mobile service, so we come to you anywhere in Cape Town and the Boland.

What happens after you get in touch

Most jobs follow the same six steps. Knowing them up front saves a few back-and-forth messages.

  1. We identify the pest. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we will tell you what it is. A German cockroach and a garden cockroach that wandered in need very different treatment, so this comes first.
  2. You get a free quote. Based on the pest, the size of the property and how far it has spread. No obligation.
  3. We book a visit. Our average turnaround is about 48 hours, though it stretches in the busy months. After-hours and weekend visits can be arranged if a weekday doesn't suit you or your business.
  4. We treat. The least-toxic option that will actually work goes in first, and we use eco-friendly, odourless products wherever the job allows. Rodent jobs follow our six-step regime and insect jobs our four-step one, so we deal with where the problem starts and not only what you can see.
  5. You get a written report. What we found, what we used and where, and what you can fix yourself so it doesn't return.
  6. The guarantee runs. Treatments carry a minimum 3-month guarantee. If the same pest comes back in that time, let us know.

What to send us for an accurate quote

A quote is only as good as the information behind it. The more of this you can give us, the fewer surprises on the day.

  • Your suburb and the type of property: freestanding house, flat, townhouse in a complex, shop, restaurant or warehouse.
  • What you are seeing and where. "Droppings behind the stove and scratching in the ceiling at night" tells us far more than "I think we have rats".
  • Clear photos of the pest itself, the droppings or the damage. Put a coin or a ruler next to it so we can judge size.
  • How long it has been going on, and whether you have already tried sprays, baits or another company.
  • Pets, small children, fish tanks or anyone in the house with allergies or breathing problems.
  • For a property sale, say you need a beetle (wood borer) Certificate of Compliance and give us the transfer timeline.

Getting your property ready for a visit

Every pest is different and we will tell you what applies when we book. A few things hold true for most visits, though.

Please don't spray shop-bought insecticide in the days before we come. It scatters cockroaches deeper into walls and can put them off the gel baits we rely on. For rodent work, make sure we can get into the roof space. If the hatch is in a cupboard, clear a path to it. For cockroaches and ants in the kitchen, empty the cupboards under the sink and around the stove so we can reach the cracks at the back.

Keep dogs inside or in a separate part of the garden while we work. And jot down where you have seen activity. Ten seconds of "mostly here, sometimes there" helps more than you'd think.

Areas we cover

We work from Brackenfell and cover the whole metro plus the Boland. Each suburb page has local notes on the pests we see there.

  • Northern Suburbs: our home turf, including Brackenfell, Durbanville and Bellville.
  • Southern Suburbs: older homes and leafy gardens from Claremont to Constantia.
  • City Bowl and Atlantic Seaboard: apartments, guesthouses and restaurants in places like Gardens and Sea Point.
  • South Peninsula: coastal damp and mountain edges in Fish Hoek, Muizenberg and further south.
  • Blaauwberg and West Coast: Table View, Milnerton and up the coast.
  • Cape Flats: from Athlone through to Mitchells Plain.
  • Helderberg: Somerset West, Strand and Gordon's Bay.

Emergencies and after-hours

Some things can't wait for Monday. A rat in a restaurant kitchen before dinner service, a wasp nest building up beside the front door, or bed bugs found the night before guests arrive. Our 24-hour emergency line is there for advice and bookings outside office hours, and we can often tell you what to do in the meantime so the problem doesn't get worse overnight. See 24-hour pest control in Cape Town for how that works.
